To reduce the amount of energy we use everyday in the office, in addition to using energy efficient light bulbs and equipment we also turn off equipment and power strips at the end of the day. Amazingly this saves up to 15% of the energy used every 24 hours!
Some of the equipment in our office turn off automatically with lack of use and the rest we turn off at the end of each day including our :
* Power strips
* Fax machine
* Copy machine
* Computers
* Monitors
* Ceiling lights
