Qualifying Ratio
(aka debt-to-income ratio or DTI) A calculation done by lenders where the borrower's total gross income is divided by all debts including mortgage and other liabilities resulting in a percentage. The maximum allowable percentage could be anywhere from 35% to 55% depending on the lender.
Quiet Title Action
A court action to settle a title dispute to clear title.
Quitclaim Deed
A document signed and notarized by one individual already on title in order to remove themselves from title and transfer ownership to the remaining owner or owners. |
